Today, we bring you the list of best goalkeepers in EA's FIFA 17. The 2015-16 season was brilliant for most of the goalkeepers in this list but some were spilled out as they performance were not up to the standard.

 

The given list is a predicted version of the rating. We will provide you with the official ratings and ranking once EA Sports makes them available to us.

 

Here's a list of the 10 best goalkeepers in FIFA 17:

 

10. IKER CASILLAS -81- FC PORTO/SPAIN

 

Spanish legend and current FC Porto goal-keeper Iker Casillas remains a top-notch goal-keeper at the age of 35. Spain No.1 Casillas made his move to FC Porto following a 16-season long run with the Spanish giants Real Madrid. Casillas made 40 appearance for the Portugese side in the campaign 2015/16 with FC Porto finishing 3rd in Primiera Liga table at the end of the season. World Cup winner Iker Casillas has not lost form since his move to the 2 times Champions League holders and remains a top-class goalkeeper in both field and FIFA.

 

Iker Casillas is representing the title holders Spain in this year's Euro 2016 being held in France.  However, the goalie is likely to face competition from Man United hero David De Gea to the first team place in the competition.

 

9. CHRISTOPHE RUFFIER –81- ASSE/FRANCE

 

AS Saint-Etienne goalkeeper has enjoyed an eye-catching season under boss Christophe Galtier. French international Stephane Ruffier kept 16 clean-sheets in 38 appearances for ASSE in Ligue 1. Stephane Ruffier is known for his amazing reflexes and match-winning dives. 28-year old French international played a major role in the ASSE ending 6th in the Ligue 1 table at the end of 2015/16 campaign.

 

AS Saint-Etienne captain and former Monaco goalie is a much valued player in Ligue 1. Ruffier had been heavily linked to a move to the English Premier League club Newcastle United at the start of last season.

 

8. BERND LENO –82 – BAYER LEVERKUSEN/ GERMANY

 

German international Bernd Leno has proved himself better than many first-choice goalies across the globe at Bayer Leverkusen. 24-year old German international has kept 13 clean sheets in 32 appearances for the 5 times Bundesliga runner-ups. Since joining the club in 2011 from VfB Stuttgart II, Leno has made a total of 223 appearances across 3 competitions.

 

Leno was a key player for Roger Schmidt's campaign which saw the BayArena club finish 3rd in the Bundesliga table . For his impressive performance at Bundesliga, Germany No.2 Bernd Leno has attracted significant attention from the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid. However, Leno has recently confirmed no transfer shall take place next season.

 

7. JASPER CILLESSEN – 83 – AFC AJAX/ NETHERLANDS

 

First choice goal keeper for Ajax and Netherlands Jasper Cillessen made 44 appearances across 3 competitions for Ajax in the 2015/16 campaign.  The 27-year old Dutch international played a crucial role under coach Peter Bosz in a season that saw the 4 times champions league winners miss out on the title with a 2-point deficit against PSV Eindhoven.

 

Nevertheless, Cillessen kept the highest number of clean sheets in the campaign at 18 in 33 league appearnces. The goalie  has been awarded with the title of AFC Ajax Player of the Year for the second time in two years at the Dutch capital.

 

6. KEYLOR NAVAS – 83- REAL MADRID/ COSTA RICA

 

Costa Rican No.1 Keylor Navas enjoyed a superb season at the Spanish capital with a glorious 'La Undecima' Champions League title under Zinedine Zidane. The 29-year old made 34 league appearnaces and 11 Champions League appearances in the 2015/16 campaign.

 

Real Madrid found their perfect replacement for Iker Casillas in former Levante goalie Keylor Navas. Despite enjoying marvellous football at Santiago Bernabeu this season, Navas is yet to make his first appearnce for the national team in year 2016. Deportivo debutant will likely remain the first-choice goal-keeper for the European Champions next season.

 

5. HUGO LLORIS -83 – FRANCE/TOTTENHAM

 

French international Hugo Lloris  has been a massive player for Tottenham Hotspurs for quite a few seasons now. Spurs came very close to clinching their big Premier League title after a long trophy less run and the 29-year old has played a big part for Pochettino's side. Former Lyon player and 3 times Ligue 1 player of the year.

 

Hugo Lloris played 37 premier league matches for the London team maintaining 13 clean sheets and conceding only 34 goals. Lloris is representing the hosts of Euro 2016 at France, with the hosts looking like the team to beat in the Euros. Hugo Lloris has been a proven success at the Premier League and looks to be a target player of European champions Real Madrid.

 

4. PETR CECH – 84 – ARSENAL/ CZECH REPUBLIC

 

If there's one goal-keeper who's worthyl of the being called the complete Premier League goalkeeper, it is Petr Cech. Former Chelsea star Petr Cech proved himself a key player in Arsenal's best campaign in a decade under Arsene Wenger. Despite failing  to winning any major trophy in the 2015/16 campaign, Arsenal goal-keeper was awarded the Premier League Golden Glove for having kept the highest number of clean-sheets(at 16).

 

4 times Premier League winner with Chelsea, Petr Cech switched teams in London after his place at Stamford Bridge was curtailed with the arrival of on-loan Thibaut Courtois. The 34-year old Czech international made 41 appearances in 4 competitions for the Gunners and 2 appearances for the national team. Petr Cech will represent Czech Republic at the Euros as they face title holder in their first match of the tournament.

 

3.GIANLUIGI BUFFON – 85 – JUVENTUS/ITALY

 

Age has never been a big issue in goal-keeping and things are no different for the 38-year old World Cup winner Gianluigi Buffon. Most capped player in the glorious history of Italian football, Gigi Buffon led his club to the Serie A and Coppa Italia titles in the 2015/16 campaign under coach Massimiliano Allegri. His consistent world-class performance at the heart of Italy and Juventus' defense in the last decade has earned him a spot in UEFA Euro All-time XI published in 2016.

 

Former Parma goalkeeper Buffon appeared in 43 games in 3 competitions last season for Juventus. In his 35 league appearances, the Italy No. 1 went about to keep 21 clean sheets and bagging the Serie A golden glove along with the title of Juvetus' Most Valued Player of the campaign 2015-16.

 

2. DE GEA – 88 – MANCHESTER UNITED/SPAIN

 

25-year old Man United No.1, often hailed by the fans as the 'Wall of Manchester', has enjoyed yet another eye-catching season at Old Trafford, getting his name on the PFA Team of the Year for the 3rd time in 4 seasons. Winner of Manchester United's prestigious Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award David De Gea will be in charge of Spain's post in France as they look on the keep hold of the Euro Cup this year.

 

Featuring in 49 matches across 4 competitions for Manchester United, the Spaniard was at the root of an impressive defensive season under Louis Van Gaal at the Stretford End. In fact, many believe the Spaniard went about saving the Dutchman's job on a great many occasions at Old Trafford.

 

1. MANUEL NEUER – 90 – BAYERN MUNICH/GERMANY

 

Manuel Neuer stands atop this list for the top 10 goalkeepers in FIFA 17, after yet another mesmerizing season under Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich. The 30-year old helped the Bavarians to 2 titles in the 2015/16 campaign under Pep Guardiola. 6' 4'' tall right-footed goalie made a total of 51 appearances in the past season across 4 competitions.

 

The Germany international is now in France for the Euros as he aspires to lead  Die Mannschaft to glory under Joachim Low. The top-rated goal-keeper in FIFA 16 at an overall of 90 has kept his lead in soon-to-be-released FIFA 17. 2014 World Cup winner remains the best goal-keeper in the real and the virtual world.
